Professional dog walking, adventure days, puppy visits and pet care across Norwich and surrounding areas.
"Hi, I'm Renata, founder of Patrol Paws."
After years of working with dogs and serving as a police officer, I created Patrol Paws to provide the kind of care I'd want for my own dog, Bea.
My background in law enforcement gave me discipline, reliability, and a deep understanding of trust โ values I carry into every single walk. Combined with my university studies in animal behaviour and hands-on experience with all breeds, sizes, and temperaments, I'm uniquely placed to give your dog the care they truly deserve.
I've also spent time helping stray dogs during travels abroad, which cemented something I already knew: every dog deserves exercise, enrichment, patience, and genuine love โ not just a quick lap around the block.

One-to-one attention for dogs who prefer their own space โ perfect for reactive dogs, seniors, or those in training.
Half-day adventures to beaches, woodlands, and secure fields. A truly enriching experience far beyond the ordinary walk.
Drop-in visits for puppies who need company, toilet breaks, play, and enrichment while you're away or at work.
Home visits for dogs, cats, and small animals. Feeding, companionship, medication administration, and regular photo updates.
Live-in care while you're away. Your pet stays in their own home, routine maintained, with daily exercise and adventure options.
As a former police officer, I understand the dedication and sacrifice it takes to serve our community. As a small thank you, Patrol Paws proudly offers 10% off all services for Police, Ambulance, and Fire Service personnel.
Based in Norwich, Patrol Paws serves a growing range of areas across the city and surrounding villages โ the same trusted, professional care wherever you are.

"Let's walk together!" ๐พ
Half-day adventures for dogs who deserve more than a walk around the block. I collect from your door, drive to somewhere genuinely special โ beach, forest trail, or secure field โ and bring your dog home happy, tired, and enriched.
I arrive at your home and greet your dog by name. They know me โ the excitement starts here.
Comfortable travel in secure, well-ventilated transport with fresh water available throughout.

Yes! For all walks, puppy visits, and Adventure Club, I collect and drop off your dog from your home address. There's no need for you to travel anywhere.
Absolutely. Patrol Paws holds full public liability insurance for all pet care services. You and your dog are fully protected.
Yes. As a former police officer I hold an enhanced DBS check. You can feel completely confident welcoming me into your home.
Always. A free meet & greet is required before any bookings begin. It's a chance for you, your dog, and I to get to know each other and make sure we're the right fit โ no obligation, no pressure.
No problem at all. I always assess recall before allowing any off-lead activity and never push a dog beyond their safe limit. Dogs with poor recall walk on a long line until confidence and safety are established at their pace.
Yes. I have experience with reactive dogs and use positive, force-free techniques to help build confidence over time. I'll always be honest with you about what's realistic for your dog at each stage.
We walk in all weathers โ most dogs love it! I carry appropriate gear and adjust routes to conditions. In the case of extreme or dangerous weather (lightning, severe storms), I'll contact you directly to discuss your options.
Small groups only. I never take out overcrowded packs. Every group walk dog has been assessed for compatibility beforehand, and I maintain a low dog-to-walker ratio at all times.
Puppies start with dedicated puppy visits and, once vaccinated and old enough, can graduate to walks. Adventure Club is available to dogs that are physically and behaviourally ready โ we assess this together at the meet & greet.
I ask for at least 24 hours notice for cancellations where possible. For Adventure Club, 48 hours is preferred due to planning and transport logistics. Life happens โ I'm always happy to work with you.
Every new client starts with a free meet & greet โ no obligation, no pressure. It's a chance for you, your dog, and I to get to know each other before any commitment is made.
